sunshine blogging award.

So I am still a total outsider when it comes to the ways and wonders of the blogosphere but I have managed to realise that I have very kindly been awarded the Sunshine Blogging Award by Gracie Rose . Thanks so much I really appreciate it and every should spare a moment to checkout her blog Fashion Dork. Okay so I know you are all eager to find out about about my exciting life, which involves staring day after day at my mini cacti for signs of death, so I won't keep you waiting any longer.

1. What would you most like to change about yourself?
I prefer not to dwell on those kinds of things, so trying to stay clear of anything appearance related, if I could I would like to change my complete inability to cook. To understand the level of this complete lack of cooking skill I could tell you right now that I once almost set the fire alarm off in an attempt to make a cheese toastie, but that would just be embarrassing.

2. What is your theme song?
Because I am that emotionally deep I have a tune for almost everything, meaning I attempt to enhance every event by applying a thoughtful song to it. I also use songs as a form of inspiration. At this very moment Fall At Your Feet  by Crowded House, as well as the cover versions by Boy and Bear and Clare Bowditch, come to mind. I could listen to that song any time of day and still find meaning and inspiration in it. I often find myself listening to it, feeling overly dramatic and emotional looking out the car window, acting like a misunderstood teenager (said in a jokey manner).

3. One part of your life memory, action, etc. that you wish you could surgically remove from your brain?

This is one that really makes cringe every time I think about it, I never dare retell the story unless, like right now, it is in writing form where you are unable to see my face red with embarrassment. My poor, innocent self was reading, in English last year, a section from Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller. I was reading a very detailed description of which include the statement cup-like breasts. Of course however, I had the misfortune of reading it wrongly and said to the whole class "cupcake-like breasts". My teacher made things worse by saying, after the class had recovered, "I think we all have a very strange image in our minds right now" and I immediately imagined the character with a Katy Perry cupcake bra spraying whipped cream everywhere. I was greeted with laughter for the next few lessons to say the least.

4. What generation do you wish you had been apart of?
I am a religious fan of 90s films and music so that could take the prize, but I also love the 60s as well with things like the birth of Fleetwood Mac, and wish I could've lived among the likes of Faye Dunaway and Briget Bardot. This cannot be left undecided. The 60s. Wait.. yes.

5. What was your favourite childhood toy?
Pj my teddy bear which was sadly left behind in Vanutatu. I was 14 and still needed the company of my teddy on a holiday. Guys please, save your judgements.

6. What's your favorite housecleaning chore?
For those of you who have never personally met me, which is all of you, I am a dedicated cleaner. My room has to be in a constant organised state otherwise all hell breaks loose and I cannot keep track of anything. In this process, I think the most enjoyable chore (not that any of them are even remotely pleasant) would be collecting the random junk off my floor. I live such a hard life man.

7. Do you Tweet?
YESIREE, but only about my blog. I never find myself thinking of something and being like Oh! Gosh let me just tweet that. Plus I don't really understand how most of it works. I am in generation Y, why am I such a technology rookie.

8. Any goals?
Well I need to write a To Do list for literally everything, possibly including have a shower, if that even counts. Considering  long-term things, I'd really love to become more involved with my sewing machine which currently sits on a shelf collecting dust and cobwebs. Turning my room into a complete sanctuary is also something I am lazily working towards. Can someone please tell me why I am so ambitious?

9. Do you really drink margaritas all the time?
I can't really grasp the point of this question. I guess its one of those Hey lets just throw in a completely random question to lighten things up. Why am I being asked Do you really... Did I imply somewhere earlier that I am a 15 year old raging alcohlic. I'm sorry if anyone got that impression.
Okay, okay guys. I'm really critical. I JUST CAN'T HELP MY ANALYTICAL SELF. So my answer to this question is no. We got there in the end.

10. What is the ugliest car you've ever driven and were embarrassed to be seen in?
Well I guess the plastic toy car I had when I was 5 is the only car I have driven. I was daring from a young age.
