summer lovin.

I'm trying to fit in as many summer filled outfits as a I can before Autumn arrives. It's gone by so fast and I feel like I'm cramming summer into the three days left of it I have. So this weekend:

  • wear summer filled outfits
  • go to the beach
  • sew something (I have an urge that can't be stopped)
Just to get into the spirit here's an outfit to throw into the bunch that I WILL BE WEARING this lovely summer weekend...

I tried to go for ice-cream colours here and the socks and the "Love Peace" T-shirt I scavenged from my sisters wardrobe went together perfectly. The blue and pink shift dress is from the markets in Paddington and I've come to the realisation that its become my my new addiction.

love is in the air.

ahhhhhh.... once again autumn is almost upon us; a season of the year that never fails to inspire, and as I procrastinate over doing my homework I can't help but feel joyous the red and yellow leaves are finally falling and Fall 2011 season is so far AWESOME. I know its from the heart. I'll be posting about it a bit later on when I've spared myself a bit more time but for now hows bout a meet and greet.

I figure the best way to do this is through pictures. You can probably guess which one I am but if you can't I'm unfortunately small with short brown hair. I'm getting off to a rickety start with the whole photo blogging thing. I can't say technology has ever been my forte unlike every other girl my age. Please feel free to give me any tips because they are greatly needed!

the freaks say hi.

I may as well apologise in advance for the long periods of time I may go without posting. I need to get into a routine!!! and plus the new school year is afresh, actually no, the new school year has taken over my life, so once again my desk is no longer visible as the mountains of books pile up on top of it. I'm beginning to call it my rubbish bin. And the one thing that bugs me the most about school... the uniforms. 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, we must suffer wearing the exact same thing. I thought my school had this whole thing on exploring your identity and being who you are. Well here's a question for you. How are we supposed to do that if you've got us wearing the same boring outfit every day of our lives. Where's the inspiration there?

I think I should also apologise in advance for beginning to ramble on about something completely unrelated, so on a more fashionable note I paid a trip to New Zealand on these fine summer holidays and discovered this UBER COOL magazine called NO. Please lose yourself in this truly amazing mystical world...

like I said uber cool... righttt. It captured so many different inspirations and ideas and I loved every page! My favourite shoot is the one near the top featuring Cece Yost. It has this sort of 'moody tone' to it and the grungy, dishevelled look is truly mind-blowing because it has this feminine touch to it. Feel free to give your opinion. pleasseee

foreigner.

Hello there bloggers of the world,
I've decided to finally get up and actually do something in my summer holidays other than get lost in Glee episodes and indulge in Milo hot chocolates. So here is my blog 'There's a Fox in my Closet'. As the title may have obviously given away *note the sarcasm*, my blog is about fashion. I've always loved style and clothing and I'm always finding new inspirations and ideas so I'm giving this a try. Hope you like it!
